WS Open GIS and Modern Webmapping
The hands-on workshop "Open Source GIS and Modern Webmapping" will be a 2-day workshop on the November 24th & 25th 2014 in Vienna, Austria. It is organized on behalf of the Commission on Map Production and Geobusiness and Commission on Open Source Geospatial Technologies of the International Cartographic Association (ICA).
In 2011, the ICA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo) with a view to develop global collaboration opportunities for academia, industry and government organizations in the field of open-source GIS software and data.
